Active Matter

Update 0.4.0.199

Matter Team

Fixed bugs with gear presets, refined lighting in dark areas and at night, restored the intended recoil to pistols, and fixed some issues with item collection contracts.

Interface

  • Gear presets now equip correctly when pressing the "Purchase and Equip" button.
  • Gear presets are now purchased without camouflages: if the preset included a camouflage on a weapon, it won't be purchased or applied. You can apply one separately afterwards as normal.
  • Weapon price in a gear preset now accounts for modification costs and now correctly matches the amount deducted upon purchase.
  • Raid results no longer display a teammate's Active Matter instead of yours if the camera switched to observing a squad member after extraction.

Graphics

  • Refined eye adaptation to lighting: at low light levels (basements, enclosed spaces), the image no longer becomes too bright.
  • Moonlight brightness is now more realistic relative to other light sources: night maps no longer look too bright.

Gameplay

  • Fixed an issue where players could not extinguish themselves when on fire while running when using default controls.

Weapons and Items

  • Fixed a weapon "twitch" in the player’s hands when the direction of gravity was changed: weapon inertia, sway and tilt now work smoothly in these areas.
  • Fixed a bug where pistol recoil was significantly lower than intended.

Contracts

  • Item collection contract objectives now properly track if items were dropped or transferred to another player. It's no longer possible to collect just one of these items, transfer them to a teammate, and complete the contract for both players.
