New Update: New Difficulty, Intro Cutscene, Gamepad Support and More!

NEW DIFFICULTY
Based on player feedback about the difficulty and revival mechanics, I’ve added a new difficulty: Normal. In this mode, players can revive themselves without a medkit at a slower rate, or use a medkit to revive faster. Hard difficulty stays exactly as the game is now.
With the new difficulty, there’s also a new achievement for completing the game on Hard: Still. Not. Beaten. I’ve also adjusted two existing achievements: Just A Guy and Catch Me If You Can can now only be unlocked while playing on Hard.
NEW INTRO CUTSCENE
Starting the game without any introduction felt too dull, so there’s now a cutscene that plays when you start a new game.
GAMEPAD SUPPORT
I wanted this ready for launch, but scheduling issues made that impossible. It’s still not perfect and you may run into some issues, which is why I’m not listing controller support on the Steam page yet. For now, the game should be playable with an Xbox One controller. Other controllers may also work through Steam Input, but that isn’t officially supported yet.
BUG FIXES
- Fixed an issue where the host leaving the game would crash the clients instead of removing them from the session.
- Fixed an issue where, after creating a session, players couldn’t create another one without restarting the game.
- Fixed an issue where the match timer on the Game Over screen didn’t show the correct in-game time.
- Fixed an issue where the voice input bindings were duplicated in the keybind options every time a player opened the menu.
- Fixed a blue outline appearing on some UI elements.
- Fixed a typo in all Notes.
- Added blocking collisions to prevent players from reaching spots the Entity couldn’t get to.
