Patch Notes v1.2.0

Hi everyone!

Update v1.2.0 is here! This update brings some major improvements to the 4-player mode, including a new competitive scoring system and support for up to 4 players in local multiplayer.

A More Competitive 4-Player Mode

I've made some big changes to the 4-player mode to give matches a more competitive feel.

Each team now has its own egg counter and a new team score. Teams earn points based on who reaches each checkpoint first:

• First team: 3 points
• Second team: 1 point
• Didn't reach the checkpoint: 0 points

There's also a new 5-minute time limit after the first team reaches a checkpoint. Once the timer starts, the other team has 5 minutes to make it there as well.

If they don't reach it in time, both teams will automatically move on to the next checkpoint, and the team that didn't make it won't receive any points for that checkpoint.

This should help keep 4-player matches moving while adding a bit more competition between both teams!

4-Player Local Multiplayer

You can now play the 4-player mode locally on a single PC!

Up to 4 players can now play together in split-screen, so the full 2v2 experience is no longer limited to online matches.

Reduce Input Delay Setting

I've added a new Auto option to the Reduce Input Delay on Clients setting in online lobbies.

Auto is now the default option and automatically chooses the best setting for each client depending on their situation.

The existing On and Off options are still available if you prefer to manually force the same setting for all clients.

Other Changes

• The game will now automatically detect your system language the first time you launch it and select the corresponding language when available.
• Fixed an issue with the Skip Checkpoint button in 4-player mode.
• Changed the font used in some in-game UI elements.
