Launch Is Almost Here: Everything Coming to Battle Bot Tactics

Hey Operators!

Launch is right around the corner, and we wanted to show you everything that's coming with it. The game has grown a lot since the demo, so here's the full tour.

Ranked

Every run can now count. Ranked is open to everyone from day one, with no unranked runs needed first.

• A run rating that moves with every run you finish
• Tiered rank badges to climb and show off
• Every opponent is a real player's build, never an AI stand-in
• Server-side anti-cheat that keeps the ladder honest

King of the Hill

Clear all 36 rounds and the run doesn't have to end. Push into Endless and see how deep your squad can go.

• The Operator who reaches the deepest round is crowned King
• The current King and the top 5 are shown right on the main menu, with their full profile card
• Works in both Ranked and Unranked

Melee Weapons

Not every fight is won from range. Get up close with a new set of melee weapons:

• Drill, Spinner and Crusher Claw
• Hydraulic Hammer and Ram Wedge (slam them into the wall!)
• Slapper, Buzzsaw Launcher and more

Knockback, stuns, wall impacts and brand-new sound effects make every hit land.

Bot Customization

Make your Bots look the way you want.

• Liveries with finishes, patterns, decals, glows and effects
• Your livery accent sets your team colour in the arena
• A showroom shop where a model Bot tries on every item before you buy it
• Earn Scrap by playing and spend it on cosmetics. Cosmetics are visual only, never pay-to-win

Flags

Fly your colours! Pick from 255 country flags and mount one on an antenna on your Bots. You'll find it on the new Flag page in Customize.

Player Profiles

Your Operator gets a real identity.

• A profile card shown to rivals before every battle
• Borders, backgrounds, titles and badges to collect and equip
• Operator Level, a number that only goes up
• Your career record and recent form at a glance

• 2-player co-op: team up with a friend and share one Team Health pool
• 54 Steam achievements with brand-new pixel-art icons
• 10 languages
• A redesigned main menu, run results and rewards screens
• A new arena, new blast-door transitions and a reworked Garage
