v0.18148 Patch Notes
Here’s what’s included in v0.18148:
Performance Improvements - More CPU side performance improvements make their way into this patch, with improved base framerate with a much faster rendering User Interface, better Beast to building collision performance, and many other miscellaneous improvements to other systems. Gauntlet Campaign Missions - Finished the basic Beast Gauntlet scenarios in the campaign? Now there are eight new scenarios that only unlock when you beat the previous Gauntlet for that Beast with a gold medal. Each is progressively much more difficult than the last. Prove you are a master with all four Beasts! Introducing ‘Tankpocalypse’ : Vote for this new Scenario Twist to see it in your matches and experience total destruction mayhem. Tons of drivable vehicles in the map are turned into tanks! Tanks can do significant damage to Beasts and make on-foot humans far more vulnerable. How will you deal with this crazy twist? Tell us in the comments. Beast Combat Fixes : Important fixes to Beast movement such as fixes for the Bat incorrectly moving backwards during some attacks, the bug some players have been getting where your Beast will teleport out of the map during combat, and Beasts randomly getting pushed back incorrectly are in this patch! MPAD Changes : The MPAD lock-on now changes color when a target paint is available, players in vehicles getting targeted by an M-PAD now get a notification at the bottom of their screen that they are in trouble, and the MPAD now can paint Brutes at a close distance. Fixed bug when Global Illumination Quality was set to Ultra that would cause Kaleidoscope light reflections Implemented warning system when players are being targeted and locked on by MPAD Improved scientist pathing in the HUB Improved Shark electric visuals Improved bot behaviors in Colony Purge Tweaks to shooting recoil, shotgun DPS, and hitscan weapons when in vehicles. Fixed Serum Grenades to no longer have negative serum values PVE difficulty scaling changes to limit Brute counts at higher levels and instead increase Brute difficulty. Fixed various map holes, collision bugs, and impossible to escape locations. Vehicles placed on top of buildings will now collapse with the building rather than hover in the air Changed the Tardigrade reward hat to be more Tardigrade-y Improvements to initial world load-in speed for new installs on lower and medium spec PCs
Sincerely,
Team GSG
