Beyond Enemy Lines - Vietnam

PvP Development Update – We Heard Your Feedback!

Polygon Art

Hello everyone!

A few weeks ago we asked what kind of PvP experience you would like to see in Beyond Enemy Lines: Vietnam, and we received a lot of valuable feedback. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share ideas and discuss the future of multiplayer with us.

One thing became very clear: while many of you enjoy classic game modes, you'd also like to see larger, objective-focused battles in the future.

Bots Are Confirmed

One of the most requested features was AI bot support to keep multiplayer enjoyable regardless of the current player count.

We're happy to confirm that bots are planned for PvP and will support most game modes. Our goal is to make sure you can always enjoy the game, whether you're playing online with friends or simply want to jump into a match without waiting for a full server.

Our Early Access Philosophy

From the very beginning, our Early Access approach has been simple:

Start small, test everything thoroughly, gather feedback, improve, and then expand.

Rather than launching with a large number of complex game modes at once, we'd prefer to build a solid foundation first. This allows us to balance gameplay, improve networking, optimize maps, and polish the overall multiplayer experience before introducing larger-scale battles.

PvP at Launch

While we don't have an exact release date for PvP yet, development preparations are well underway.

The initial PvP release is currently planned to include:

  • Team Deathmatch
  • Deathmatch
  • Domination
  • Kill Confirmed

These modes will allow us to establish the core gameplay while giving us valuable community feedback before expanding the multiplayer experience further.

Larger Battles Are Coming

We also heard your requests for larger-scale game modes.

These are definitely part of our long-term plans.

Today we can officially confirm that Conquest is currently in development and will arrive after the initial PvP release.

In addition, we're already working on two more large-scale game modes, but we'd like to keep those a surprise a little longer. We'll share more details once they're further along in development.

What Do You Think?

Does this roadmap sound like the right direction?

Would you rather see us focus on polishing the classic game modes first, or would you prefer us to prioritize larger battles sooner?

As always, your feedback plays a huge role in shaping Beyond Enemy Lines: Vietnam, so let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
