Greetings fellow broke wizards! We've been heads down for longer than we wanted, but have been hard at work on some exciting updates!
We’ve listened to feedback and completely overhauled the Job Meta to be competitive focused. So now every job you take matters toward the goal of topping the leaderboards at the end of the week!
Jobs are started by accessing WizDash kiosks all over the neighborhood. These kiosks are usually located adjacent to, or nearby the job area.
All Jobs are opt-in. When a player starts a PvP job, all 6 players can compete together or they can do their own PvP jobs with a smaller group at the same time.
As a bonus, every action you do or item you find gives you a small amount of cash. Every last dollar matters if you want to finish in first place!!
During a PvP Job all the info you need is on your left; the description, timer, score and current place. Additionally you’ll be teleported directly to the job when appropriate.
Once the job is over, your score determines your position and the money you made! You’ll also see your current rank and money on the left side of the screen at all times.
Combat now appears as a weekly competitive Imp Challenge. Kill the most monsters for big cash, but don’t destroy homes.
The money is either tallied at the end of the week, or by a player hitting the weekly goal. The finishing order is based on total money made and then Tickets are awarded by the Imp. Be first and you’re royalty for the week! Be last and you’re a joker. Everyone wins something!
Tickets are used at the shop to unlock cosmetics.
Finally, since this is now a competitive focused experience, lobbies require at least 2 players in PvP Mode to start. So you will form your party in the lobby instead of meeting up in the neighborhood.
