Broken Soccer Demo: Big Update Is Live!

A brand-new version of the Broken Soccer demo is now available on Steam, and it's packed with improvements. We've been busy breaking things and fixing them again… mostly fixing them.
Smarter goalkeepers Keepers now make real saves, come off their line at the right moment and fight for loose balls. Scoring is harder now. Scoring with style is more satisfying.
Better ball control
- A brand-new header system with a timing ring: nail the timing for a perfect header.
- Charged shots for when subtlety isn't an option.
- Reworked tackles and knockdowns that hit harder and feel fairer.
Smarter AI Rival teams and your teammates read the game better: better positioning, better shots, fewer "what was he doing?" moments.
Draws? Fight it out. Tied matches now end in a fully reworked arena brawl. No penalties. Just violence.
Powers and dice A redesigned power bar and dice. Every roll is easier to follow and harder to forget, especially when you roll a 1.
Visual and audio upgrades
- A new main menu.
- Improved lighting and graphics.
- Smoother loading with no hitches when a match starts.
- New sounds, menu music and stadium atmosphere.
More languages The demo is now translated into many more languages.
What's in the demo Play the Demo Cup, a 5-match mini campaign, with any of these 6 teams:
- Area 51 FC: they came from far away to play soccer. Probably.
- Cavemen FC: they discovered fire. Passing, not yet.
- Ninjas United: you won't see them coming. Neither will the referee.
- Nursing Home FC: experience, wisdom… and very questionable bladder control.
- Scientists FC: soccer is just applied physics. And chaos theory.
- Vikings United: they don't play for the trophy. They play for Valhalla.
You can also play Friendly matches and Practice mode.
