Music Plates & the Fiddle Beetle
Bugs & Birdies has a new way to play: music. Four new floor plates sound like a piano, a trumpet, a choir and a double bass whenever someone steps on them. Tap a plate to tune it a semitone higher, lay a few side by side and walk your melody across the farm.
- Everyone plays along: friends, chickens, frogs and even beetles make a sound when they cross a plate
- In co-op, four players can walk four voices at once and play a whole song together
- The plates are crafted from planks, string, cloth and copper, so you can start right away
The Hall of Echoes
Deep below, a new kind of dungeon is waiting. Music fields are scattered through the halls, and on a stage stands an old music stand with a yellowed sheet. Tap it and it plays a short melody. Play that melody back on the stage keys, pausing briefly on each one, and something wakes up.
The Fiddle Beetle is a boss built like a violin, with a golden treble clef on its back. It bites, it lifts its bow, and it fires fans of golden notes across the hall. Bring friends. And listen closely when it falls: it hums of a treasure hidden somewhere in the hall.
Watch the new trailer on the store page now. The free demo arrives on October 16 for Steam Next Fest, and the Hall of Echoes is already in it. Add Bugs & Birdies to your wishlist so you do not miss it.
