Our Halloween event has arrived in the free demo, just in time for Steam Next Fest.
Pumpkin Night
- At night, pumpkin beetles hide between the pumpkins and jump out when you get close
- Ghost beetles drift over the graveyard and fade away at sunrise
- Place a cursed pumpkin and the Pumpkin King rises in the night
- Trade candy with the frogs, brew potions in the witch's cauldron and fly through the night on a witch's broom
- Decorate your farm with jack-o'-lanterns, gravestones, spider webs and a spooky scarecrow
- Catch the pumpkin perch, and after midnight maybe even a ghost fish
Pumpkin Night runs until November 3.
Better online co-op Some of you told us that joining a friend did nothing or that the connection kept dropping. Thank you for the reports! The world is now sent in a much smaller package, and joining waits longer before it gives up. If you still run into trouble, please tell us in the feedback channel on our Discord.
Steam Next Fest runs until October 26. Your progress carries over to the full game, and if you enjoy the demo, add Bugs & Birdies to your wishlist.
