Rikarin Studio

This update focuses primarily on the continued development of the thermal-hydraulic network and the electrical grid, including the VIUB/VIUT panels. Parts of these systems are available and playable in the release, with further functionality planned for future updates.

It can be enabled though console (F1) convar "reactor.thermal_network 1".

Fixes

  • Fixed incorrect rod position readings in SKALA
  • Fixed zone unloading in multiplayer
  • Fixed Load / Share / Prune button sizes across different localizations
  • Fixed missing CJK characters in tooltips
  • Fixed setpoint range to 5–120 V
  • Fixed three-position knobs getting stuck in the middle position
  • Fixed mouse cursor capture issues when multiple windows were open
  • Fixed circular loop issues in wire logic
  • Fixed VIUB/VIUT alarm light labels
  • Fixed alarms being removed during continuous signal triggering
  • Fixed the Steam host being kicked from their own session
  • Fixed the control popup incorrectly displaying "Simulation Paused" while the simulation was running
  • Fixed the "Open Folder" button not working on Windows

Improvements

  • Retired the 4-second block to match the pre-accident configuration of Unit 4
  • Optimized GPU drawing performance
  • Recalibrated ion chambers so ARs overlap within the correct operating range
  • Adjusted ion chamber sensitivity
  • Feedback now also uploads the previous log
  • Server list now displays when a server is running an outdated version
  • Added wiring for the PK-AZ "Not Ready" alarm
  • Adjusted player movement
  • Added value indicators onto VIUB/VIUT panels
  • Wired several previously missing VIUR alarm lights
  • Added mouse sensitivity setting while zoomed in
  • Added reactor.dump_* ConVars for dumping reactor statistics to the console
  • Added tooltips to VIUB/VIUT alarm lights, value indicators, and control switches

Dedicated Server

Coming soon!

The dedicated server is getting closer to release and currently includes:

  • RCON support
  • Server roles
  • Player state persistence
  • Remote ConVar execution

More dedicated server features and documentation will follow as we get closer to release.
