v1.8.8 Released: Chatbox, World Sim + More

Hi everyone,

v1.8.8 has been released:

Chatbox Improvements Improved Markdown formatting, speaker labels, and conversation scrolling, along with several other, smaller, usability refinements.

Assistant Reliability Fixed an issue that in some instances could cause Ciel to not properly use her name or the user’s registered name after reopening an assistant during some conversation turns.

Fixed an issue where legacy language repair could trigger another generation and overwrite the original response in some of the multilingual languages such as Turkish.

Further improvements to generation speed for the included default model and refined the prompt compaction process.

World Sim Improvements

World Sim now opens with the avatar centered and at a smaller more reasonable scale to allow smoother World Sim Custom Stage editing.

Small UI improvements to ensure that clicking / dragging various objects into the World Sim Stage Editor does not cause the panels color to flicker.

Updated the Russian and Ukrainian localization for the default World Sim stages

Settings and File Picker Improvements Image Theme import now works from Settings and Connections without needing Personalized Prompts to be enabled in the personalize menu.

Fixed an issue where the Export TTS Audio File Picker could appear behind the UI settings.

Update will be live on the Compact branches and other Web platforms shortly.
