Build Challenge and Upcoming Community Livestream! 10.16.26
Traega Entertainment
Happy Friday, Spartans! It's been over a week since Hounds of Zeus, and as all of you either finish or continue progressing through the Temple of Zeus raid, I bring you something extra to look forward to this weekend!
MEET THE VOICE ACTORS
Last month, Game Director Tony and Community Manager Monday spoke with three of the voice actors behind some of Dawn of Defiance's monsters and heroes. They shared with us their journey in the industry, fun anecdotes from past jobs, and some of the most challenging parts about voicing characters you'll recognize across the Crossroads!
COMMUNITY LIVESTREAM
Check out their introductions above, then join us Tuesday for the full one-hour conversation that we will premiere on our YouTube channel. Following the conversation, Monday will be playing Dawn of Defiance live to participate in our next build challenge.
WHEN: OCT 20 @ 5PM CT
WHERE: YOUTUBE.COM/@TRAEGAGAMES
BUILD CHALLENGE
It's been a long time since we've hosted a build challenge, and this time we're doing it a little different. Rather than competing, anyone who posts pictures of their builds in Discord will be rewarded 1,500XP in the server to bring you up to at least Level 5. All builds will also be featured in our next regular community video, whether posted in Discord or elsewhere on our socials. But what are we building.....?
THEME: Reclaim the scorching halls beneath the Smolikas with a build forged in fire! Out from the lava, build a manor or temple within the Frostburn Caverns that befits your power as a Spartan.
WHEN: OCT 16 - OCT 24
WHERE TO POST: Discord Thread (if you want XP). Warning: If you do not have the @Defier role, acquired on our #welcome-and-rules channel, you might be unable to open the thread link.
Thoroughly looking forward to seeing what you all build. Feel free to participate in Creative mode (especially given the dangers of the challenge) or Survival mode. Up to you! Big builds or small will receive XP.
Have a great weekend, and see you Tuesday for more Dawn of Defiance!
