v0.3.4: Vessel's Machine, Rebuilt. 19 New Attachments.
Vessel never cared whether you understood what you were buying.
He still doesn't. But now you can see it.
VESSEL'S MACHINE, REBUILT
- Your gun turns in 3D on the machine page. Point at or click any part and it appears on the gun before you buy it.
- Every part shows what it gives in green and what it takes in red.
- Stat bars compare what you have fitted against what you are looking at: aim speed, control, stability, accuracy, damage, range, stealth.
- Slot tabs along the top show what is on the gun right now.
- Solo: the run waits while you shop. Co-op and online keep running.
19 NEW ATTACHMENTS
Every part gives something and takes something.
- Muzzle brakes: Twin-Port, Cage, Slotted, Long. Less kick, more noise.
- Flash hiders: Bulb, Ported. Steadier from the hip.
- Suppressors: Fluted, Can, Baffle, Heavy, Compact, Shotgun. The heavier they get, the quieter you are, and every one costs damage and range.
- Red dots: Pedestal, Mini Reflex, Holo Block.
- Scopes: Prism and Long (Mk14 only), each with its own reticle.
- Lasers: Rail Laser for the rifles and shotgun, H3L-G for the Viper and the R08. A lit laser replaces your crosshair and moves with the gun. The flashlight button switches it.
THE ARMORY (FULL GAME)
- Rebuilt to match: a large turning gun, picture tiles for finishes, stickers and charms, and numbered spots on the gun for each sticker.
- Vessel's machine has a LOOK tab to dress the gun in your hands with what the Ledger has paid you.
ZOMBIES
- Deaths blend in instead of snapping. Crawlers and knocked-down zombies die where they lie instead of popping up to die standing.
- Zombies that held their arms up and never swung now attack properly.
- Late waves are as tough as they should be. Reused zombies were keeping the health of the wave they first spawned in.
- Reused zombies no longer all die the same way.
- Brutes pay more nerve: 8 per hit, and more on the kill.
ONLINE AND CO-OP
- A zombie the host kills now dies for the partner too. Hazmats in particular could stay standing on the other screen.
- Zombies no longer turn invisible or freeze for the partner.
- If the host leaves, the partner goes back to the main menu instead of being stranded.
- Pause in co-op and online never freezes the game. Only the player who paused loses control, and the menu sits in their half of the screen.
- In couch co-op, the turn plays in the turning player's half while the partner keeps fighting.
- Horde mode online follows the host's choice.
FIXES AND CHANGES
- Mouse sensitivity and invert Y now work.
- Automatic guns start in full-auto.
- Dying between waves no longer starts the next wave over the game-over screen.
- After a first game over, later runs counted nothing. Kills, records and the leaderboard now track every run.
- Reading The First Page no longer turns you on the spot.
- Horde mode is pure horde: no infection.
- The turn and game-over screens are cleaner, and the board reads YOU HAVE TURNED after a turn.
- Gun previews no longer shake or shimmer while turning.
- The holographic sight no longer glows white when your flashlight is on.
- The intro logo is no longer cut short on a slow start.
- Some of the ceiling cables in St. Harrow's move now. There is a draft. Nobody opened a window.
DEMO
The demo gets this update too: the new machine, all 19 attachments, lasers, scopes and fixes. The Armory and the Ledger stay in the full game.
NEXT
Our own two-player test turned up more online issues: seeing your partner's shots, blood and flashlight, shared ammo drops, and zombie movement under lag. Fixes for those are in progress for 0.3.5.

Spend carefully. Every point of nerve you hand him is will you no longer have.
