Meet Desktop Duck

Hey everyone,

Thank you for checking out Desktop Duck during Steam Next Fest! We're a small team of two, and we've been building Desktop Duck on the side for about two years. We're so happy to finally let you meet Duck.

The Demo is OUT NOW

It's a small slice of Desktop Duck for now. We'd rather grow it alongside you than guess what you want, so what you tell us decides what comes next.

Getting to know your duck

• Say hi. The first time you launch, your duck walks you through a short setup and a quick lesson.
• Move it. Drag your duck and set it down gently.
• Throw it. Drag your duck and let go mid-swing.
• Pet it. Hold the middle mouse button (or Ctrl + click) on your duck and move your mouse back and forth.
• Focus together. Open Today page and click "Start Focus Session" from the menu, set the timer and press Start.
• Claim gifts. Time with your duck earns points. When it tells you a gift is ready, open the Bag from the menu and click the banner to unwrap it.

What's coming in the full game

• More gifts and a full collection. Earn feathers and spend them on gifts, and build up your collection. Over 110+ cosmetics to collect
• Friends. Your friends' ducks can join you on your desktop and send emotes.
• Screen time Stats. Get insights about your day.
• Website Blocking. If you like a new productivity tool, Duck can close websites you tell it to close.
