Connection Issues – We Need Your Help
A lot of negative reviews were left because of connection problems. Since we’re only three developers (and two of us still work full-time at our main jobs), we need help from the community to find and fix this bug.
What’s happening
Bug #1 (Heavy lag): When the 3rd or 4th player joins a session, everyone (or sometimes only the host ) starts lagging like crazy.
Bug #2 (Instant disconnect): Sometimes a player joins the host and gets kicked immediately with the message: "Lost connection with host"
We currently can’t reproduce these issues locally with our team tests.
How you can help us reproduce it
Invite your friends and test creating sessions in different regions .
Have the person who starts the session create the game.
Write down which region you were able to find their session in.
When the lag starts, open the developer console (F11) and check for errors.
Report back to us
If anyone manages to reproduce this reliably and find a consistent way to trigger it, please tell us what you did and what region you used.
