Quality of Life Update (Part 1)
Update
These improvements were selected from player suggestions on Steam and Discord. Thank you for your help! Change log:
* Updated to the latest MonoGame framework and .NET 10
* Black market limit: I added 500 as limit, it grows with 50 for each city capture
* A hover button for all city resources
* Can pick army or guards on automation
* Will set captured cities to auto
* Ultra wide support - adjustable ui placement * All relation actions will trigger messages
* An UI easter egg
* improved pony model
* Increased the byte size boundaries on player saves
* Build priority - apply to all button * When spending workers, immigrants will be used first
* Auto guard recruiting is reduced by 1/3
* Added add/remove option on build tool
* Removed the multiplayer gift achievements * Save interval option, increased default to 45 minutes
* Steam timeline support * Domination victory will now ignore unclaimed land
* Tiny map size reduces difficulty score by 50%
* Locked the city low resource warnings to one line

* Increased Guard post damage from x3 to x5
* Increased Guard post block chance by about +50%
* Fixed a randomizer bug

Reassign
* More efficient unit filter system
* New reassign menu for soldiers
* Fixed: food will also follow army split * A quick reassign button on selected soldier groups
Manual
* Added game manual section in pause menu, the menu will also remember the page you are on
* Removed city help tab
* Added "open game manual" as second mission in tutorial
Sound
* Tabs have environmental sounds
* Theme music added to playlist

Performance
* Using linear arrays for the map, and voxel data
* Removed all unnecessary faction references
* Removed references from the area unit grid
Leaderboards
* Added nation wide strength high score
* Organized leaderboards in difficulty
* Leaderboards are reset * Reduced survive 350% to 300%
What is next?
A second QoL update is planned for December, with a focus on performance. The big “Map 2.0” update is still going strong, aiming to be done in May. Here is a look at the progress:
Relaunch
I am relaunching an old party game I made in 2014. I am still very proud of that game and I want to keep it available and up to date. It will cost me a few days a year, so won't distract much.
