The Scourge - A Spooky Event Comes to Dune: Awakening
Funcom
Something is spreading across Hagga Basin.
It begins as a rumor. Crazed attackers sighted in the deep desert. Sun-touched madmen who seem to spring from nowhere, only to disappear again into the darkness. Later, their bodies are found twisted and broken beneath the Arrakeen sun.
Now, the rumors are becoming harder to ignore.
The Scourge
From October 23 to November 2, take part in The Scourge, a limited-time event in Dune: Awakening and earn spooky special cosmetics, decorations, emotes and swatches!
A mysterious disease has begun spreading across Hagga Basin, leaving madness and death in its wake. Venture into the desert, confront the infected, and uncover the truth behind the strange affliction.
Where did it come from? And what is it doing to those unfortunate enough to become infected?
Find and face the source!
Hunt the Infected
As the disease progresses through new stages, the event changes phases with new contracts and objectives.
Speak to Frida Maltros at a trade station to begin the investigation. Then search Hagga Basin for the afflicted and collect Infected blood from your encounters.
Bring your gruesome findings back to trade for special event rewards, available only during The Scourge.
The desert has always been unforgiving. For a short time, something even more sinister stalks the sands.
The Scourge begins October 23 and ends November 2.
