September 25 Update — The Quest Board
Guild Quest Board rebuilt
- The Guild board is now one clean atlas: Campaigns, Wilderness, and Discoveries share the same parchment-and-brass look, with proper destination illustrations on each briefing.
- Discoveries are now grouped as Raids / Dungeons. Simpler controls, real destination names, and locked routes stay visible with a small lock instead of disappearing.
- Selecting a destination shows what map you need, how many you own, how to get one, and whether it gets used up on departure. Map items in your inventory use the same art and corrected descriptions.
- All three wilderness routes are visible from the start and open at Bronze after your first expedition.
- Fog maps now reveal a random eligible dungeon. Revealing reserves the map; departing consumes it.
- Deeper frames, bevels and slightly larger card text after the first pass looked too flat.
Campaigns: Coming Soon
- Chapter I (Glowing Lights in the Mountain) and Chapter II (Fungus in the Ruins) are marked Coming Soon and can't be launched yet at any rank. Short spoiler-safe synopses are on the board so you can see what's coming.
Co-op and party fixes
- Rejoining the same expedition after a disconnect, host leaving, and app restarts now keep your inventory, queued gold, and downed/revive state intact. No more double-paid rewards or lost bags on reconnect.
- Fixed the host being auto-kicked for idling, health not reporting while paused, and a stale disconnect overlay that could reload the tavern after a quick reconnect.
- Party quests: personal errands, commission signing, shared destination/readiness, and clean abandon/leave flows.
The Last Crumb (tavern)
- Added visible railings where you could previously walk off upper landings and galleries.
- The quest board now has collision; Juniper's patrol was re-routed around it.
- Fixed kitchen, pantry and stair roof cutaways and stair lighting.
- Purchases are only charged to the player who made them in co-op.
Village
- Village builder: projects, resident stories, scouting, district specialties, shared preparation, and contextual tutorial cards.
- Fixed resident panel refreshes, story reward previews, and daily-offer journal visibility.
Story companion
- The tavern fae now accompanies the campaign chapters with small expressions and form-change effects, and subtitles fit better.
General
- HUD refresh optimizations and runtime performance work.
- Expedition and campaign reward notifications no longer get lost; save batching hardened.
- Additional English UI text; full translations for the new text are still in progress (English fallback in other languages).
- Mac build remains Intel-only (runs under Rosetta on Apple Silicon).
