Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition

Update 1.30 - Halloween 2026

Techland

Night changes Villedor. The streets grow harder to read, every distant sound feels a little closer, and somewhere in the static, a signal is trying to break through.

This Halloween, turn up the noise - and listen to what answers. Let’s dive into what we’ve prepared for you in this patch.

Halloween Showdown 2026 Halloween Showdown 2026 is a three-week event built around community cooperation. Inspired by last year’s celebration, each week brings a new pair of shared goals, presented as a fight between two characters, with separate rewards for each side. Everyone’s contributions count toward the weekly totals, so work together to unlock the rewards - and choose which character you want to back. Villedor is dressed for the occasion, with Día de los Muertos decorations across the open world and a traditional Halloween look in Tower Raid. Special Halloween-themed enemies appear in both areas throughout the event and drop Halloween Candies, which you can spend at Baka’s Event Shop. Each week, featured enemies also begin appearing in encounters and remain afterward; while they’re the week’s targets, defeating them in the open world earns you Showdown Candies. You can find more Showdown Candies in Halloween Chests - 40 during the day or 80 at night - and spend them at Baka’s to support either side of the weekly matchup. When a community goal is reached, every player who contributed at least 10 Showdown Candies to it receives the weapon reward in-game. Both weapon rewards can be unlocked if the community reaches both goals. At the end of the week, the character with the most contributed candies wins the vote, and their charm can be claimed through Pilgrim Outpost! Moreover, after donating 10 Showdown Candies to one of the factions, you receive an immediate reward of 500 Halloween Candies in-game just for participating. This applies separately to each goal, meaning you can earn a total of 1,000 Halloween Candies each week!
