There’s also a new bundle with Kebab Chefs! - Restaurant Simulator . Already own Kebab Chefs !? You’ll get an EXTRA 10% OFF the bundle.

New Languages

This update adds French, Portuguese, Korean, and Thai. Together with Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, and English, the game now supports seven languages.

What’s in 1.0

1.0 is a big step up from 0.8. Here’s everything:

Chapter 8 · Bar Street / Beer / Wine Glass

  • Beer system: Pour to match each customer’s foam request. The order you tap the beers in matters.
  • Wine Glass customers: They only tell you part of what they want. Pick a drink from the menu that fits.
  • Cocktails: Freeze ice in the insulated box, then cut it into crushed ice, ice balls, or ice spears, whichever the customer asks for.
  • Shaker system: A full shaker can pull off a flair performance. Hit the button when the bar drops into the white zone to earn extra servings.

Furniture & Home

  • Clear Chapter 8 to upgrade to the [House with a Garage] and unlock more new furniture, including a car.
  • New furniture, [Contract Rack]: Unlocks Performance Records, where you can save, view, and delete stage results.
  • New furniture, [Bicycle]: Lets you force-close the shop. Requires the Greenhouse upgrade.
  • The [House with a Garage] now has a Cup Mart room, so you can run several Cup Mart machines back to back and pull multiple outfits fast.

Characters & Outfits

  • Improved how the game talks to Steam Inventory. The mailbox, Outfit Recycler, and Cup Mart now respond much faster.
  • You can now see which characters you’ve cleared with, and how many outfits you own out of the total for each character.
  • Added icons for skills that raise or lower Stress. Fixed Crocodile and Fox skills and their multiplayer sync.
  • Added 11 face outfits for every character, plus a Legendary outfit for Crocodile.
  • When you have 10 or more pieces of mail, a ten-pull now runs automatically.

Subway Station

  • All stages from all eight chapters are now available.
  • Customer traffic has been reworked, and the host can change the traffic level at the Order Counter.
  • Fixed items falling under tables from the conveyor belt and becoming impossible to pick up, auto-restock barrels not spawning, and auto stock organization skipping toppings.
  • Fixed problems with stage settlement, unfinished stages, and client rewards. Clearing the Subway also no longer counts as clearing a regular stage, which had been stopping players from getting the First Clear Reward.
  • Improved the layout of some stages and adjusted prep times.
  • The Subway now shows the current difficulty and contracts. When choosing cards, you can now tap Give Up to quit a stage quickly.

Customers & Gameplay

  • Overhauled NPC physics.
  • Added icons for Troublemaker customers, Critic customers, and Customer with Children orders. Customer with Children orders stay at the front of the queue until pressure kicks in.
  • Trash: Changed how often trash gets thrown. You can now pick up trash again and again, and the bag gets heavier or lighter as you do. Trash pickups now stack to earn REP.
  • Phone orders now only come from regular customers, and they no longer take up a seat. Drunk customers may stumble into the prep area.
  • Stomping bugs is now much easier and takes far fewer stomps.

Saves & Data Fixes

  • Autosaves are now capped at 10 (it was 50). We also keep one daily save for 30 days.
  • Loading a save now fixes the demon head counter automatically.
  • Fixed duplicate buttons showing up when you open the Load screen over and over. Load times now show in your own time zone. Older saves now carry over your Cash correctly.

Localization

  • Updated translations for Traditional Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, Portuguese, and Thai.
  • Translation files now live outside the game itself, in the mods/translations folder in the game directory.
  • Prepared the game for more languages, with major changes to in-game text windows.

Economy / Settlement / Leaderboards

  • Settlement totals now show as text, so they can display amounts in the hundreds of millions. The settlement animation is faster, too.
  • You can now see your friends’ rankings on the leaderboards. Fixed leaderboard uploads that broke after the multiplayer rewrite.
  • Updated the prices and unit prices for all drinks and toppings. You can find topping unit prices in [Instructions].

Multiplayer & Networking

  • Rebuilt the multiplayer netcode. This lays the groundwork for future ports and LAN play.
  • Rebuilt NPC multiplayer logic, with better communication that runs less often.
  • Fixed a long list of multiplayer sync issues, including baseball hits, running Stress data, goblin behavior, dine-in, thief, and troublemaker animations and speed, milk pot stirring, and more.
  • Fixed clients being counted as clearing the Subway, and fixed wrong reward payouts.
  • Fixed characters loading incorrectly when you return home, and characters not appearing when you re-enter a room.

Performance & Under-the-Hood Changes

  • Rebuilt the audio system with better playback.
  • Rebuilt the button system. Button icons had unnecessary shaders that caused stutter, and that’s now greatly reduced.
  • Improved loading. Home characters and tutorial text now load differently, which cuts memory use.

Card Changes: [Elusive] and [Elusive+]

These two cards let you get away with mistakes on toppings and garnishes. Here’s how they worked in 0.8, and how they work now.

[Elusive]

  • 0.8: A wrong topping could be forgiven. With 1 wrong topping, a Neutral Review became a Good Review. With 2 wrong toppings, you got a Bad Review. It didn’t apply to garnishes.
  • Now: It forgives 1 mistake on toppings or garnishes.
  • 1 wrong topping or garnish: a Neutral Review becomes a Good Review.
  • 2 wrong toppings or garnishes: a Bad Review becomes a Neutral Review. This can stack with cards that turn Neutral Reviews into Good Reviews.

[Elusive+]

  • 0.8: Wrong toppings were ignored, and you still got a Good Review. It didn’t apply to garnishes.
  • Now: It forgives up to 3 mistakes on toppings or garnishes.
  • 1 to 3 wrong toppings or garnishes: Good Review.
  • 4 wrong toppings or garnishes: a Bad Review becomes a Neutral Review. This can stack with cards that turn Neutral Reviews into Good Reviews.

PS: On Small and Medium cups, these cards are stronger than before. You can now leave out all toppings and garnishes. On L cups and buckets that need several toppings and garnishes, 0.8 couldn’t ignore garnishes at all. Now you can skip at least 3 toppings or garnishes of your choice.

Card Changes: [Never Say No] and [Never Say No+]

  • [Never Say No] now works on garnishes as well as toppings. You can also restock both.
  • [Never Say No+] used to add +15 to topping unit prices. Now it doubles them.

Thank you for everything, store managers. The doors are open, and we can’t wait to see you inside!
