FISH OS is featured in Companion Falls For You
ORCO Games
FISH OS is being feature in Companion Falls for You, an autumn celebration of desktop companion games, running from September 23 to October 1. It is hosted by IndieLab and Mister Morris Games, the studio behind Rusty's Retirement.
The demo is a few days out
Straight answer: the demo is finished and sitting in Steam's review queue. It should be live on Friday. Nothing dramatic happened, the queue is just the queue.
So the Playtest is open until then
Request access on this page and you can play today. The Playtest build is the full operating system rather than the demo slice: every zone, the whole prestige tree, and the desktop with all of its software on it.
Wishlist
Full release is end of Q4 2026, one purchase, no ads, no energy bars, no store. The wishlist button is right there and it genuinely decides how visible this thing gets.
Go dig through the rest of the event while you are here. The desktop companion shelf is much deeper than it was a year ago, and a lot of it is very good.
