A Mother Below
Another day breaks as the kingdom welcomes competitors from across the realm for Fahrul Warrior , an annual competition designed to test the strength of those keen to try their hand at the martial arts.
Our intrepid heroes have trained hard for this day, and nothing short of a catastrophe will stand between them and the prized title!
The winds carry a sense of excitement as Fahrul Warrior descends upon the kingdom, providing a rare moment of much-needed levity.
The returning champion, Aidan the Fist Furey, remains the fan-favourite to take home the gold for yet another year, but a growing roster of would-be champions are eagerly lining up to test their mettle.
However, out of sight, in the damp and dank corners of the realm, shambling husks have been seen roaming, and the once-dormant Everbloom Canopy's mycelium borders creak beneath the soil, stretching tendrils into the bedrock and cerebrum that hold this vulnerable kingdom together.
These signs remain obscured to the general populace of Fahrul, but the realm's Scholars, Hunters, and Pathfinders share concerns and evidence that something sick and ravenous is festering below.
..A noxious rot seeps underfoot, but bear no mind to that, Adventurer! You've a tournament to attend.
