You know that every great tornado story starts in the heartland. Inspired by the flat, open landscapes of Oklahoma, Kansas, and the midwestern states famous for spawning nature's most destructive monsters, this new biome is designed to throw you right into the middle of iconic storm-chasing territory.

If you're a fan of classic tornado cinema, you might even spot a few familiar references scattered across the open fields!

With The Great Plains , we’re shifting away from suburban streets into wide-open rural terrain. But don't let the scenic farmland fool you fewer buildings mean far less shelter when the tornados come around tearing through the landscape!
