PATCH NOTES #015 - Quality of Life & Bug Fixes
Hey Runners! Hope you guys are doing well.
Today's update delivers a massive under-the-hood optimization pass aimed squarely at eliminating shader compilation hitches and stuttering!
On top of that, we’ve resolved tornado orbit desyncs so sensor items dropped by fading tornados are fully grabbable for client players, fixed bent props losing lighting and photo capabilities, corrected crowbar target reticles, and cleaned up ladder alignment and cutscene clipping across The Great Plains!
PATCH NOTES
Bugs and reports that were addressed in this patch:

- Mission Board UI: Updated the Mission Board to display a clear wireframe outline of the specific items required to complete active quests.
- Quest Improvements: Reworked the Tornado Reading quest to function similarly to Weather Observing, introducing smoother intermediate research stages.

- Camera Polish: Updated the visual styling and photo frame border on the Fodax Camera.

Updated Tutorial and TV Ad videos to play using Bink Video instead of Electra to prevent rare startup/playback crashes.
Fixed an issue where tornadoes changed movement direction more frequently than intended.
Fixed an issue where late-game storms could trigger near the end of a match when they shouldn't.
Fixed an issue where props that bent and contained light/audio components lost those components after bending (e.g., bent billboards now remain photographable and retain sound effects) .
Fixed an issue where players clipped inside the van during the ending escape cutscene.
Fixed an issue where players could be stunned while stepping out of the driver's seat.
Fixed the ladder climbing animation failing to properly align with the ladder mesh.

Fixed inventory action prompts failing to display updated key labels after rebinding keys.
