Galactiball 0.90.001B — Clearer Match Finding and Online Play

This beta update makes match search easier to read and updates a few parts of online play, controls, and music.

Find Match

• Progress made towards multiplayer reliability, recovery, lobby and matchmaking screens.
• Search text and lobby rows are larger, with clearer Join buttons. The selected Join button scrolls into view as you browse.

Online matches

• Online hits are checked against the ball and match rules. This helps stop one player from landing several hits in quick succession.
• Ball updates and recovery are adjusted to handle brief connection hiccups better. Messages tell you when the game is waiting for the host and when the connection is back.

Controls and music

• You can open team chat from the pause menu with a controller and type with the on-screen keyboard.
• Steam Controller rear buttons now match the face buttons by default: L4 is Y, L5 is B, R4 is X, and R5 is A.
• Menu and match music use updated looping between tracks.
