Ghoul Fright – Co‑op Playtest Now Live!

The mansion doors are open… and this time, you’re not entering alone.
Co‑op mode for Ghoul Fright is officially in playtesting, and we’re inviting players to jump in, team up, and survive the most chaotic cartoon‑horror brawl we’ve ever unleashed. Up to 4 players can join forces. Friends, strangers, or whoever dares to queue. Fight your way through escalating waves of ghouls that get meaner, louder, and significantly more unhinged every round.
What’s in the Co‑op Playtest
You and your squad will face 10 stages of increasingly aggressive ghouls. Every stage cleared earns you gold, which you can spend at the in‑game shop to buy wearable upgrades that boost your strength, defense, speed, and overall “please don’t let me die again” potential.
Expect:
- Chaotic multi‑ghoul combat
- Shared progression through waves
- Team strategy… or total panic
- Wearable upgrades that stack into wild builds
- In‑game voice & text chat for yelling, laughing, and screaming together
- Online matchmaking for filling your squad instantly
The Co‑op Vibe
Ghoul Fright co‑op isn’t just about surviving. It's about the messy, hilarious disaster that happens when four people try to fight cartoon ghouls at the same time.
Someone’s always:
- Throwing punches in the wrong direction
- Screaming “DON’T PUNCH THE TNT” in voice chat
- Hoarding gold for a ridiculous upgrade
- Getting launched across the room by a ghoul with attitude
- Typing “WHAT WAS THAT??” in chat mid‑fight
It’s chaos. It’s loud. It’s stupid fun.
And it’s exactly the kind of energy we want this mode to deliver.
Why We’re Playtesting
This co‑op mode will ship with the full release of Ghoul Fright, and we want your help to tune:
- Enemy difficulty scaling
- Upgrade balance
- Wave pacing
- Matchmaking flow
- Voice/text chat stability
- General “is this fun or is this too much?” feedback
Your feedback directly shapes the final version. So jump in, break things, survive things, and tell us what feels good (or what feels like a ghoul slapped you too hard).
