Giblings is officially live!
...aaaand we're LIVE! Whew! It has been an intense six months of development, but Giblings is finally out, and I really hope you all enjoy it. I've always felt there's been a Liero-shaped hole in our lives for the past 20 years, and I hope Giblings can help fill it. :)
When I first started, all I wanted to do was make something inspired by Liero. But as development went on, the game grew into something much bigger than I'd originally planned. Alongside the classic deathmatch gameplay, there's now Battle Royale, co-op Zombie Horde, controller support, and local split-screen multiplayer for those who'd rather play together on the couch.
One thing I only realised yesterday, after talking to some co-op players, is that there's also demand for full-screen local multiplayer with more than two players. So that's something I'm planning to add in one of the next updates! Along with more maps! And more weapons!
A huge thank you to all my beta testers for helping me polish the game over the last few months, all the tips and game ideas they shared, and to everyone who helped with the localisations. I really couldn't have gotten this far without you.
And a special thank you to my beautiful wife, who's been incredibly supportive throughout all of this and has been so understanding about the countless hours of our spare time I've spent working on the game. I know it's taken up a lot of our time together, and I really appreciate her patience and support.
I hope you have as much fun playing Giblings as I've had making it. And please keep the feedback coming. There's still plenty I'd love to add and improve!
