Over the past few weeks, we have been working intensively on Gold Admiral and have now reached an important milestone: The planned gameplay features have been fully implemented!
The major systems are in place and working together. You will be able to choose your own path through the world of Gold Admiral:
- Establish your capital and build a powerful empire.
- Found additional settlements and develop them into important centres of trade and power.
- Play numerous factions with different strengths, weaknesses, and playstyles.
- Lead a traditional nation to success through trade, diplomacy, and expansion.
- Choose a pirate faction and raid your way to wealth and influence.
- Trade with indigenous peoples and carefully choose your allies.
- Discover and conquer dangerous dungeons on land and at sea.
- Encounter independent NPC factions with their own interests.
- Fight, trade, explore, and create your own personal empire.
And this is only part of what awaits you in Gold Admiral.
Our Next Course: Graphics, Atmosphere, and Sound
With the gameplay systems now completed, the next major stage of our journey begins.
Over the coming weeks, we will continue polishing the visuals, improving existing elements, and making the world of Gold Admiral feel even more atmospheric and alive.
A major focus will also be placed on sound effects and audio atmosphere:
Cannons should thunder, fires should crackle, harbours should feel alive, and battles on land and at sea should not only look impressive – they should sound powerful as well.
