Tavern Chat #023: New Season Gameplay, New Soul Pendant, New Routes!

Hi everyone!

We're about to bring new gameplay to Season 8 "Myriad Souls" — Soul Seals. At the same time, we'll add a new Soul Pendant and a batch of Soul Jades, and expand the level routes of [Crystal Vale], hoping to enrich everyone's gameplay experience.

Season

New Gameplay: Soul Seal

To help everyone control the pace of the battlefield more freely, we've added the Soul Seal gameplay. Each Soul Seal provides different effects and offers a different play experience.

[Fortune Soul Seal]

Fewer Soul Jades sold at the Soul Pendant Merchant, but you gain refresh charges, and each refresh makes one item free.

[Overdraft Soul Seal]

Obtain a certain amount of initial Soul Sand. The quality of the first Soul Pendant Affix and Soul Pendant Selection Pack you obtain is upgraded, at the cost of fewer Soul Jade slots.

[Artisan Soul Seal]

The quality of Soul Jades sold at the Soul Pendant Merchant is reduced, in exchange for the ability to spend Soul Sand to forge Soul Jades and upgrade their quality.

[Tempered Soul Seal]

All kinds of discounted filler items will appear in large quantities at the Soul Pendant Merchant! Every time a certain number of filler items are switched, the bonus they provide increases. However, the Soul Jade Selection Pack is no longer charged by spending Soul Sand; instead, charges are obtained when switching filler items.

New Soul Pendant

Lucky Dragon Qian

The Dragon Qian, a symbol of Copper and good fortune, joins the battlefield! It will help players pick up Copper and attack enemies. Meanwhile... guess what's hidden in the bundle on Dragon Qian's back?

Soul Jades

We've added a new batch of Soul Jades, hoping to enrich your gameplay experience.

In this Mid-Season Update, we will add new routes to [Crystal Vale].

Development Progression

All the brand-new content above will be presented to you in the third Mid-Season Update at the end of October.

Beyond this Mid-Season Update, the new DLC, Season 9, new Map, new BOSS, and more are all in full swing of development. We'll release more development information later, so stay tuned!
