We're aware that graphics auto-detection isn't working correctly right now. It sets many players to Epic settings even on lower-end hardware, which causes low FPS and performance issues. We're working on a fix, and a hotfix is coming soon.
In the meantime, we recommend setting your graphics manually: [Settings → Graphics → Low/Medium preset].
We've also seen your feedback about FOV and passed it on to the dev team.
