Hela: of Mice & Magic – Demo Trailer Revealed at IGN Fan Fest!
Windup
Hela: of Mice & Magic was part of IGN Fan Fest 2026: Fall Edition, where we revealed a brand-new trailer made entirely from gameplay footage captured in the Hela demo !
If you missed the premiere, you can watch the trailer right here:
A Little Adventure of Its Own
Rather than taking a section directly from the full game, we created a small, self-contained journey with its own story and a map made especially for the demo. It offers a first taste of Hela’s Northern Sweden-inspired atmosphere, mouse-sized exploration, playful puzzles, and interactive world while remaining separate from the main adventure.
You’ll find yourself in a little corner of the forest, where you must restore the Witch’s protective magic and gather enough Glimmer to find your way back to her cottage.
Along the way, you can explore at your own pace, experiment with physics, solve puzzles with your magical Froggy backpack, uncover hidden details, and lend a helping paw to those you meet.
Play solo or share the journey with a friend in local split-screen co-op. In either mode, the Shade System lets you create magical copies of your mouse. This is especially useful in solo play when a puzzle requires more than one set of paws.
Online co-op is not available in the demo, but the full game will support up to four players online.
