From conveyor to customer: cooking together in Hotpot Party
One kitchen, several jobs
Hotpot Party is a cooking game for one to four players, solo or in local co-op. Ingredients arrive through a shared queue and conveyor, so each order is also a small coordination problem: which ingredients does each pot need, and who is watching them?
Cooking does not stop at the ingredient list
Adding an ingredient gives that pot more cooking time. Once a finished pot is ready, leaving it on the hob too long burns it. Getting the correct ingredients together and getting the completed order to the delivery window are separate jobs.
In local co-op, each player has a separate cursor in the same kitchen. You can split responsibilities between the conveyor, the pots and delivery, or move between jobs as orders arrive.
Between service days
Earnings go towards ingredients and upgrades between days. The choices you make outside service shape what you have to work with when the next orders come in.
Mouse/keyboard and controller play are supported. Steam Remote Play Together is listed for playing local co-op remotely.
This is a closer look at the current game mechanics, rather than a patch announcement. Hotpot Party is coming in Q4 2026. You can wishlist it here on Steam and follow for further development updates.
How would your group divide the kitchen jobs?
