v1.1.0 Legendary Expansion & Court Synergies: A Detailed Gear Guide

Peter

v1.1.0: More ways for your equipment to work together

This update adds 81 Legendaries, taking the main-game total from 39 to 120: 24 each for Warrior, Mage, Paladin and Hunter, plus 24 universal items. Those are the totals after the update, not the number newly added to each class. All 42 Court items retain their existing base stats while gaining conditional damage, keyword bonuses and synergy effects.

This is a preview update; some build combinations still need tuning. Existing heroes, equipment and saves remain usable. Below you will find acquisition and crafting rules, 20 examples from the new Legendaries, an index of all 42 Court items, and the four class sets' 4/5-piece synergies.

Finding new Legendaries and using the Cube

  • Unlock: Reach a highest progression of Stage 31. New items then join the pool for your class, slot and available routes. The 81 new items do not enter the pool during the first 30 stages.
  • Discovery preference: When a Legendary is selected, there is a 30% chance to prioritize an undiscovered item from the currently eligible pool. This is not a 30% Legendary drop chance per kill and does not guarantee a new item.
  • Extraction: The Cube unlocks at Stage 31. Consume a Legendary, 5 Ember Souls and 50 Soul Shards to record its power permanently, shared across the account. Each hero can equip one power in each of three categories: weapon, armor and jewelry. Class restrictions still apply. Equipping an item and its identical Cube power does not stack. Court gear, sets and Oddities are not eligible for ordinary Legendary extraction.
  • Random Legendary reforge: Pay 3 Ember Souls + 30 Soul Shards to replace an eligible bag item with a different Legendary of the same slot from your current pool.
  • Targeted Legendary reforge: Pay 10 Ember Souls + 100 Soul Shards to choose another discovered, currently eligible Legendary of the same slot.
  • What carries over: Item level and Ancient/Primal quality stay. Ordinary affixes are rolled again; enhancement and enchanting reset; socketed gems are returned. Locked items cannot be reforged. This recipe does not apply to Court gear or Oddities.
  • Finding your build: Bag, Codex and Cube filters now include slot, route and keywords. Cards show applied/benefiting keywords. Discovered new Legendaries also enter the existing gacha wishlist.

How the 42 Court items now work

Existing base damage, armor, Life, fixed affixes and Court Vitality are retained. Each item has permanent Court damage, two conditional bonuses, and keyword stats or a synergy effect. Conditions can check enemy Bleed, Burn, Freeze, Vulnerability or Marks; your shield, Life, recent Block/Dodge; or a damage source such as falcons, thorns, arrows or traps.

The permanent portion is 60% of that item's expected Court damage value; the two conditions add bonuses when met. Conditional bonuses, keywords and extra attacks share a damage budget. Cards show the actual values and estimated condition coverage for your build, while the upper-left combat display tracks condition states. The panel is an estimate, not a promise that every hit receives every bonus. Do not multiply all listed percentages together. Normal/Heroic/Mythic Court Vitality remains +25%/+35%/+50% maximum Life per item; Radiant increases these values by 30%.

Existing gear and inheritance: Old Court items read the new effects automatically, without a conversion cost. Enhancement, enchanting, gems and locks remain. Court pieces still stand in for matching slots of the selected main-game set and inherit the original class Legendary effects. That inheritance list is fixed at the original 26 class Legendaries: the 81 new powers must be worn or equipped in the Cube.

Oddity Resonance (existing rule): With eligible Court gear equipped, compatible Oddities receive corresponding base stats, ordinary affixes and might from the Court tier you wear most. Oddities in the head, shoulders, chest, hands and legs slots can also count toward the Court set. They do not copy the corresponding Court item's individual synergy effect. Without Court gear, their original behavior remains.

Court acquisition (existing rules): Evernight Court is a 2–4-player endgame raid, entered after the Stage 101 finale and the relevant difficulty requirements. The gatekeeper drops legs/boots; the feast boss belts/gloves; the librarian offhands and the forbidden ring; the mirror boss helms and the mask pendant; the gardener shoulders and the thorn ring; the watchman chest pieces and the pocket watch; the Queen weapons and potentially the two relics. Each boss drops 0–1 item for two players or 1–2 for three/four players; Queen relics count toward that cap. Unsold auction items are reclaimed by the system without charging ingots or consuming that item's weekly eligibility.

Build directions for the four classes

  • Warrior: Establish Bleed, then cash it out through Whirlwind, Stun and execution. Crimson Vortex, a higher Bleed cap and the Court 4-piece Stun interaction form one clear combination.
  • Mage: Connect Burn, Freeze and Shock. Thunder zones, lava and alternating elements can improve condition coverage. The 4/5-piece reactions consume some states, so do not assume every state stays active forever.
  • Paladin: Block to build hammers and Marks; convert healing/overhealing into shields; use those shields to strengthen thorns, counters or Holy Shock. Supply both reliable Blocks and sustained shields.
  • Hunter: Mark prey with traps, Vulnerability and Burn/Freeze, then let arrows and falcons support each other. Falcon-carried traps and the Court 4/5-piece effects offer a natural loop.
  • Universal gear: Overhealing shields, shield-break bursts and control-to-Vulnerability effects can supply missing states. With limited equipment and Cube slots, complete your trigger chain first.

Four Court sets: new 4/5-piece synergies

These are the synergy effects. Existing permanent 2/4/5-piece stat bonuses remain; five pieces also retain the lower thresholds you meet.

Scarlet Oath

  • 4 pieces Blood and Iron: Stunned enemies gain 2 Bleed stacks per second. Stunning an enemy at maximum Bleed immediately deals damage equal to 3 sec of Bleed
  • 5 pieces Crimson Execution: Against enemies below 30% Life, each Bleed stack increases your damage by 5%. While you are below half Life, your Bleed and Stun durations increase by 50%

Starlight Oath

  • 4 pieces Elemental Reactions: Freezing a Burning enemy triggers a steam burst: remove Burn and deal 150% of its remaining damage within 2 tiles. Lightning hitting a Frozen enemy adds 2 Shock stacks and a 0.5-sec Stun. Igniting a Shocked enemy increases Burn strength by 10% per Shock stack. Each reaction can affect the same enemy once every 3 sec
  • 5 pieces Stellar Resonance: Each elemental state on a target grants your skills 10% Crit Chance against it. With Burn, Freeze and Shock all present, your next skill hit deals an extra 300% damage and removes all three states (once per enemy every 6 sec)

Dawnlight Oath

  • 4 pieces Oath Light: Blocking applies Judgment Mark to the attacker. Triggering a Mark restores 2% maximum Life; overhealing becomes a shield capped at 20% maximum Life
  • 5 pieces Dawn Bulwark: For each 10% maximum Life held as shield, Thorns, counters and Holy Shock deal 25% more damage, up to 100%. When the shield breaks, deal 300% Holy damage within 3 tiles and Stun for 1 sec (once every 6 sec)

Greenwood Oath

  • 4 pieces Hunting Ground: Enemies hit by traps or explosions become Prey and their Vulnerability is extended by 3 sec. Falcons prioritize diving at Prey and deal 50% more damage to them
  • 5 pieces Verdant Storm: Arrows hitting Vulnerable enemies have a 15% chance to summon a temporary falcon for 4 sec. Falcon hits against Burning or Frozen enemies deal 50% more damage

20 new Legendary examples: slots, triggers and limits

These are examples from the 81 additions. All items can be found in the in-game Codex using class, slot and keyword filters.

Pixel effects and usability

  • New visuals cover thunder zones, lava, blood/ice trails, blood bursts, stored/released hammers, falcon traps, shield-break frost bursts, Mark transfer and elemental resonance. Charge bars follow real stored values. Low-effects mode retains ground boundaries and trap bodies.
  • Leave Rifts manually; bulk-salvage and sort across Shared Stash pages; scroll the Cube list independently while keeping extraction controls visible.
  • The Codex explains affixes; heroes approach enemies and return with movement frames. Simplified Chinese, English, Japanese and Traditional Chinese descriptions and pixel-font coverage are updated.
  • Legendary reforging and shared salvage have interrupted-write recovery for item/material settlement.

Updating and balance notes

Every party member must update to v1.1.0 and recreate the room. Multiplayer protocol is now 5; older clients cannot mix with this version. Changing a Legendary clears its stored charge. Death and hero changes clear temporary combat states.
