Major Visual Update: Welcome to the New Office

BigMeco Games

A MAJOR VISUAL UPDATE

We have rebuilt the shared screen of Last One Employed . The rules and office politics remain familiar, but the match now does a much better job of showing what just happened, whose turn it is, and who has attracted too much attention from their former coworkers.

The game table is now the center of the match

The inbox deck, latest played card, discard pile, and shop now live together on one physical office table. A played card remains in the center until the next event, so the result of a turn no longer disappears as soon as its animation ends.

The shop is built directly into the tabletop and keeps a clear single row of up to six items. Item cards are larger, while their prices sit on top as separate yellow stickers.

Employees have new photo badges

Player portraits are larger and unnecessary text has been removed from the main card area. Names, stats, and turn state now have their own clear hierarchy, while active turns, audits, and firings no longer compete for the same frame.

Ghost votes have moved into a dedicated meter attached below the card. It grows with the vote count without squeezing the portrait or stats. When it fills up, there is no mistaking who the former employees are coming for next.

The lobby is now one reception terminal

The QR connection panel and employee list now form one terminal: a connection ticket on the left and a stable grid of ten employee badges on the right. Open positions are visible before anyone joins, while tutorial, language, and exit controls share one compact console.

One visual language across the game

The light blueprint background remains, now supported by cold steel, deep navy panels, and thin cyan edges. Red and yellow are reserved for moments that truly need attention. New shadows, recesses, and physical details connect the table, side panels, and employee cards into one scene.

We also retuned player placement for every table size from 3 to 10, keeping cards clear of the table, game log, and side panels even in the busiest matches.

Available in the full game and the demo

The new presentation is available on Windows, macOS, and Linux in both the full game and the free demo.

Bring your coworkers into the new office, try the demo, and add the full game to your wishlist.

The corporate party continues. Only one employee will remain.
