Loftia is coming to the October Steam Next Fest with a demo!

Loftia will be participating in Steam Next Fest on October 19th, with a limited-time demo that everyone can download and play!!
We know how excited everyone is to step into Loftia, and now we’re opening our sky islands a little earlier to give you a small preview of what’s to come when we launch into Early Access on November 3rd!
Demo details
The demo will go live just before the Next Fest begins, on October 19th at 1pm EDT, and will remain playable for 1 week until the Next Fest ends on October 26th.
Your gameplay progress will carry over into Early Access! Anything you complete or collect during your time in the demo will remain with your character when Early Access begins a week later.
What’s in the Demo?
Get your first taste of life in Loftia! The demo will showcase the initial part of the Loftia experience. You'll be able to play through the opening Loftia City questline, meet its NPCs, salvage resources, grow crops, and set up and decorate your home in a shared neighborhood.
You'll also be able to team up for Adventures to solve group puzzles and challenges, contribute to World Projects, play social minigames, and just spend time hanging out with friends and meeting other players!
The demo will cover the beginning of your Loftia journey, taking you through Loftia City and ending just before you reach the next district, the Hanging Gardens.
There will be much more content and additional gameplay features to explore in Early Access, and we hope to see you there when it officially launches on November 3rd!
Are there any Demo rewards?
Yes! For the duration of the Next Fest, we’ll be running an event where playing the demo will grant you some special rewards!
The Demo Banner will be exclusively available to commemorate all Loftians who join the demo during the Next Fest week. You’ll unlock this reward when you enter the Player Neighborhood for the first time, which can be reached in the first 10 minutes of the demo. You will also need to link your email address and claim the reward on the Loftia website at https://loftia.gg in order to make sure the reward is saved on your account for Early Access.
If you invite some friends to try the Loftia demo with you, there will be some even more exciting rewards to earn…
Character names will also be saved
Along with gameplay progress, your Loftian character name will also be carried over into Early Access.Please note that only one character per account can be created during the demo. (After Early Access has begun, you will be able to create multiple characters per account.)
If you claim a character name during the Next Fest demo but do not log into Loftia’s Early Access in the 3 months between November 3rd, 2026 and February 3rd, 2027, your character name will be made available for other players to claim.
