Loftia’s Free Demo is available right now to play!

Hi everyone!
Loftia’s free demo is now live for anyone to start their journey into Loftia City!! This demo is a preview of what’s to come when we launch into Early Access on November 3rd. The demo is now available to download directly from our Steam page, for the duration of the October Steam Next Fest.
Progress you make in this demo will carry over into Early Access! All completed quests, collected items, and character progression will remain with you when Early Access begins a week after the Next Fest ends, on November 3rd.
What’s in the Demo?
The demo will showcase the initial part of your Loftia journey. You’ll play through the opening Loftia City questline, meet its NPCs, salvage resources, grow crops, and decorate your home in a shared neighborhood. The demo questline will end just before you reach the next district, the Hanging Gardens.
You’ll also be able to group up for Adventures to solve group puzzles and challenges, play social minigames, and just spend time hanging out with friends and meeting other players!
In the demo, you will also come across World Projects: our gameplay system where players all come together to work on shared goals! Our very first World Project involves working together to set up a birthday party for Pebble, which happens to be on November 3rd. Join in and contribute to the project to get some snazzy birthday gear, and some other goodies too.
In the demo, you’ll notice that World Projects tie in with Community Passes, which will have a premium reward track in the future, alongside the standard reward track available to everybody. You can find more information on this page on our website. We’ll be sharing more details about Loftia’s pricing and how Community Passes will work, before our Early Access launch.
Demo rewards
Our Demo Banner will be an exclusive reward available to commemorate all Loftians who join the demo during Steam Next Fest. You’ll unlock this reward when you enter the Player Neighborhood for the first time, which can be reached in the first 10 minutes of the demo.
If you invite some friends to try the Loftia demo with you, there will be some even more exciting rewards to earn…
To redeem your rewards for Early Access, you will need to link your Loftia website account in-game using your email address. If you need an account, head over to the Loftia website to create one.
If you do not link an account, we will not be able to recover any rewards or progress made during the demo. If you have any issues linking your account, you can email us at support@loftia.gg
Character names will be saved too
Your Loftian character name will also be carried over into Early Access. Please note that only one character per account can be created during the demo. (After Early Access has begun, you will be able to create multiple characters per account.)
If you claim a character name during the Next Fest demo but do not log into Loftia’s Early Access in the 3 months between November 3rd, 2026 and February 3rd, 2027, your character name will be made available for other players to claim.
