Crackpot Plushie & Madness Day Postmortem!
GIBBING TREE, LLC
Do you hear it? Can you feeeeeel it? The effigies of the Great Buoyant One are upon us!
Yesssss! The endearingly enigmatic Dr. Crackpot has arrived in plush form! All decked out in his culty best and beaky face. Sweet festive backpack too! The only caveat is that this version of him sadly cannot float. We got it to happen, for cheap even, however performing the necessary canticles and hymns, plus the sacrifices involved were deemed 'unviable' for larger-scale production. We can at the very least promise that he'll get to you no matter what with Makeship's trademark FLAT-RATE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING! Don't delay though! He's only around until OCTOBER 31ST , so get him while you can! He might just be the cutest one. I love him. Our precious Crack Baby. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ We also recently concluded our Madness Day/M:PN Anniversary activities for the year! If you're not aware, Madness Day is a yearly bash over on Newgrounds where Madness takes over the whole dang site. Every year on September 22nd you all show out and absolutely flood the place with kickass animations, artwork, music and games. Due to you folks' incredible amount of support over the years, we've been able to put together a prize pool and hand out goodies to the best entries these past few years as well. 2026 in particular marked the 20TH MADNESS DAY!!! We say it every year, but this year really was stacked. In the back of our heads we're always thinking that at some point things have got to slow down, interest will taper off, people will be busy. It's the natural way of all media or fan presence in anything, after all. But you folks just don't let that happen. More entries. More people. New people. New ideas. Cool ideas. Longtime vets still absolutely killing it. The community really gives it their all every year, and 2026 was our biggest yet. Artwork by Noobosikov If you want to browse through this year's collection, you can do so here. There's so much great stuff in there, we strongly suggest giving it a look. If you want to watch Krinkels and the rest of the judges watch and react to all the animations and art on our livestreams, you can watch the VODs here! If you want to see this years winners and honorable mentions, you can check out the announcement post right here. Also on the VOD channel, you can check out our first M:PN Modding stream that we did for M:PN's anniversary! Krinkels, Swain and a few guests including modding OG Darksignal went through some of the latest and greatest the modding scene has to offer. Showcasing you folks' mods is something we'd love to do much more often and we'll be sharing more details on our plans for that very soon. If you wanna check out the mods we checked out, you can view the collection of them here! Want to get into modding yourself? Check out our master resources doc and official Discord to get started! All in all, an absolutely loaded and killer year. We can't wait to see what you folks come up with in 2027. If you've yet to participate in a Madness Day, let the next one be your first! Whether you've got a heart-wrenching 60-minute animated epic of love and betrayal or just a quick sketch in MS Paint, we love going through and seeing it all. Thank you all so much for making this our favorite time of year, and we're looking forward to seeing EVEN MORE from you folks next time!
Oh, also Krinkels uploaded the first part of the new DedJeb saga. No biggie.
