Tesseract Studio

Hello, everyone!

We are the development team of <Mini Cozy Room : Lo-Fi>.

Update Ver 1.07.00 brings new content, character customization, and redesigned wardrobe and music player interfaces, alongside many other improvements.

We've added new features and content to give you more freedom to customize your character and rooms, while improving existing systems.

Our new DLC, “Halloween Pack,” is also available now.

Read on for the full update details.

■ New Content

1. New Room Skins and Customization Items

  • Added 3 new room skins.
  • Added 4 floor skins for the train room.
  • Added 18 new eye designs and 6 mouth designs.
  • Added 8 new actions for each pet. These actions occur randomly with a certain probability.

2. New Halloween Content (No DLC Required)

We've added new Halloween customization items.

You can purchase these items with in-game currency without buying the DLC.

  • 1 Halloween-themed campsite decoration
  • 5 Halloween costumes
  • 1 Halloween-themed background

3. New Palette Feature

Introducing “Palette,” a new color customization feature to make your character more personal.

Palette lets you customize hair, skin, eye colors, and more in two different ways.

  • Hue Adjustment: Adjust the hue, saturation, and brightness of existing colors to change the overall color scheme.
  • Individual Color Settings: Use the color picker to assign your own color to each part individually.

4. Wardrobe and Decoration System Overhaul

  • The wardrobe and decoration menus have been redesigned.
  • Clothing and decorations are now separated for easier navigation.
  • A new “Sets” tab has been added to the wardrobe.
  • View complete outfit sets and purchase them together from the Sets tab.
  • Removed the old check buttons and redesigned the layout to make items easier to browse.
  • Redesigned the Empty icons used to remove clothing and decorations.

■ Features and Improvements

1. Music Player Overhaul

  • Redesigned the music player's interface and layout.
  • You can now see the playback time and progress of the current track.
  • Added a seek bar to jump to any part of a track.

2. More Presets

  • Increased the number of presets from 3 to 6.
  • This applies to wardrobe, decoration, and ambient sound presets.

3. Direct Number Entry

  • You can now type values directly into numeric settings.
  • Previously you had to click the arrows repeatedly; now you can select the number and enter it using your keyboard.

4. Collect All Boxes

  • Added the ability to collect all boxes at once using the right mouse button.

5. Easier Furniture Selection

  • Interactable furniture now shows a white outline when you hover over it.

■ UI and Usability Improvements

  • Main buttons now show their names in tooltip bubbles when hovered over.
  • Added an “Unmute” tooltip while audio is muted.
  • The current game version is now shown in Settings.
  • Added a Credits section in Settings listing the development team and used licenses.
  • Redesigned the loading screen when visiting a friend's room in multiplayer.
  • Selecting the Furniture tab in the decoration menu now scrolls to the end of the list.
  • Changed the label “Accessory 1” to “Accessory.”
  • Switching between Friends, Notes, and To-Do now automatically closes the previous window and displays only the newly selected one.

■ System and Data Management Improvements

  • Separated game progress data from user-created data such as notes and to-do lists into different save files.
  • This change helps us manage and potentially recover user-created data if game data is lost or damaged in the future.
  • Improved looping of default ambient sounds to remove unnatural gaps during playback.
  • Optimized memory usage to improve performance and stability.

■ Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a locked room remaining visually locked after entering it.
  • Fixed the Bandage accessory shifting position when playing games on a beanbag.
  • Fixed an issue where launching the game minimized other open windows on the computer.
  • Fixed the multiplayer Friends window playing the opening animation instead of the closing animation when minimized.
  • Two of three previously identical red shoe items now have distinct designs matching the spacesuit and marching band outfits.
  • Fixed boxes appearing in the wrong position after moving your character in one room, switching rooms, and clicking a box.
