Steam Next Fest! A Lil Update

We’re halfway through Steam Next Fest and it has been a very heartwarming and exciting moment for us! Over 10,000 demo sessions, oodles of wishlists, and surely one very tired mouse later, we just wanted to say thanks!
And if you've enjoyed our demo (or any demo during Next Fest), please leave a review! Developers love hearing what players are feeling, and those reviews genuinely help all of us. We read every one.
With that being said, we've just rolled out a small update with a handful of improvements!
Demo Update 1.1
Quill Interactions
Improved Quill petting interactions General polish and responsiveness updates
Haptics
Improved controller vibration tuning across supported PC controllers Added a new haptic event when Quill is hit during the healing tutorial
Camera
Improved jump readability during the climb to the Warden encounter
Mouse & Keyboard
Mouse cursor now properly highlights options in the pause menu
A quick note on controls in the demo: One piece of feedback we've heard is that the demo doesn't do enough to teach players the controls. And that makes a lot of sense! The demo is a curated slice built from several different parts of the full adventure, and while we tried our best to provide guidance along the way, some mechanics don't get the same introduction they do in the full game .
You can always open the pause menu to view the controls at any time, but we thought we'd share them here as well before you jump in:
