Rigidbody

You can enter version 1.6.1 Beta by selecting the publictest branch via Steam's Betas tab.

Estimated Beta Duration: 1-3 day

The mechanical features and adjustments are now largely complete. We are currently conducting broader stability testing and waiting for the new parts and preset ships to be imported.

Dynamic Submesh Binding

Parts can now move together with turrets.

Simply place the selected parts directly onto a turret to bind them.

Buoyancy System Improvements

The new buoyancy algorithm improves how ships physically respond to waves.

Porpoising on small vessels in rough weather has been significantly reduced.

Large ships will no longer feel welded to the surface of the water, and will experience more noticeable roll and pitch.

note: that ship speed may be affected by these changes.

Adjustable Trim Block Algorithm Improvements

Reduced the issue of Adjustable Trim Blocks becoming excessively heavy after using automatic trimming.
