Frostfall Ridge Announced – New Systems & Content in Development

New Map, New Content & A Big Announcement!

Hey everyone!

First of all – a massive thank you to each and every one of you. Your support means the world to me and keeps me motivated every single day to make NO BACKUP the game it was always meant to be.

Work in Progress: New Content

I'm currently working on some exciting additions that will add a whole new layer of depth to the gameplay:

• Weapon attachments – Scopes, grips, suppressors and more to customize your loadout your way
• Secondary weapons – No operator should hit the field without a backup

Both are still deep in development, but I wanted to let you in early. You're part of this journey!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: New Map – "Frostfall Ridge"

Yes, you read that right. A brand new outdoor map is coming to NO BACKUP – and it's cold. Brutally cold. Frostfall Ridge is a vast, snow-covered mountain landscape that throws you into entirely new challenges. Out here, it's not just the enemies you have to survive – the environment itself becomes your enemy.

New Gameplay Features on Frostfall Ridge:

• Cold system – Your character can freeze! Stay outside too long and your body temperature will drop. Find rooms with heaters or warm yourself by a campfire – or face the consequences
• Restricted visibility – Snowfall and harsh weather conditions dramatically reduce your line of sight. Be careful – enemies can be on top of you before you even see them
• Campfire mechanics – Fire spots are not just warmth sources, they're tactical landmarks. But watch out – enemies need to stay warm too
• Snow tracks – Your footsteps leave marks in the snow. You can track enemies – but you can also be tracked
• Dynamic weather – Blizzards can drop visibility to near zero, shifting the advantage in an instant

I'm putting everything I have into this map and I'm incredibly proud of where it's heading. It will feel unlike anything in NO BACKUP so far.
