An important update on our release

Hi everyone,

We have some news to share about the launch, and we want to walk you through exactly what’s going on.

Our release build was submitted to Steam for review weeks ago. With Steam Next Fest approaching, the review queue has been far busier than usual, and our build is still waiting in that queue. The game is finished and the build is ready; the only thing missing is Steam’s approval, and that part is entirely outside our control.

Over the past few days it has become clear that the approval won’t come through in time. One option was to lock in a new fixed date that we would not be allowed to change afterwards. We didn’t want to risk disappointing you twice, so instead we worked with Steam Support to temporarily remove the release date from the store page.

What this means: the game will not be releasing on Tuesday, October 20. We’re truly sorry. We know many of you were looking forward to this day and planned around it, and we’re sorry to let you down.

New release date

The game will definitely release in the last week of October. As soon as the build is approved, we’ll announce the exact day and time here and on Steam. The only reason we can’t give you a precise day right now is that we don’t know exactly when the approval will arrive; it will not slip past the end of October.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Getting this close and stumbling at the finish line isn’t easy for us either, but in just a few days we’ll be celebrating together. We’re here if you have any questions.
