Update 1.4: mouse support, new music, a sound for every weapon

GeekZoneCouch

Some of you told me the game had no mouse controls, started too slowly and sounded harsh. Fair points, so this update fixes all three before Early Access.

Mouse in every menu

  • Point and click through the main menu, operator select, level-up cards, the market, the pause menu and the end screen.
  • In the market, left-click buys a card and right-click locks it. The wheel scrolls, and right-click backs out of menus.
  • Aiming is automatic, so in a run you move with the keyboard or a controller, same as before.

New soundtrack All five music tracks are rewritten: longer songs that build up as the fight goes on, with a softer, warmer sound.

A faster start In the first six waves, robots now come in packs from the edges instead of one at a time. The action starts in the first minute.

New sounds

  • Every weapon has its own sound now: the sniper cracks, the saw grinds, the shotguns boom, the ray gun zaps and the ice weapons crackle.
  • New sounds for robot kills, scrap pickups, going down and the menus.

Early Access on October 30 All of this is in the demo now, and in the full game when it launches in Early Access on October 30. Wishlist OKTORAID and Steam will let you know on launch day.

Thanks to everyone who took the time to write. Keep it coming.
