One More Lawn

The free demo is out now

Superdou

The free demo of One More Lawn is out. Grab your mower, grab your friends, and go make Elvira happy. Or at least try.

Bring friends. Up to 5 of them.

Online co-op for up to 6 players, each on their own mower, all in the same yard. Join with a Steam invite or a code. Proximity voice chat, everyone's radio playing from their own mower, and plenty of ways to get nothing done: wave, dance, throw fruit at each other, or punch a friend in the face (no damage, just dizziness). In the demo you play with other demo players.

Meet Chiquito

A street vendor in an old green pickup. Call him on the phone and he shows up at the gate, honking. Toss him your bags of grass and he pays you in cash. Then spend it on things you don't need:

  • Spray paint for the mower, the fence, the trees, his truck...
  • Party speakers with a microphone and a knob full of silly voice effects: chipmunk, monster, robot, phone, megaphone.
  • Little red wagons you can hook into a train.
  • Also: charcoal and meat for the barbecue, an ice-cold six-pack, gas, fertilizer to make the grass grow back, and a brand-new garden gnome (just like the old one).

Money in One More Lawn is for fun, not for upgrades. Nothing you buy makes you mow faster.

Elvira's backyard, the whole thing

A big, overgrown backyard scored on perfection: everything cut, at 5 cm, nothing broken. Hold the key until the engine coughs to life, flip the blades on, and drop the deck. The dashboard is real: look at the key, the blade switch or the deck lever on the mower and click it. The grass goes into a bag behind you (keep an eye on the gauge on the dash), and Chiquito buys your bags. Get off to use the trimmer along the fence, and around that one gnome. When you're done, Elvira writes you a receipt. With comments.

And everything in that yard that isn't mowing: a barbecue on the drum grill, a six-pack to toss into the bin, juggling the fruit, the radio, dances, and Gómez the gnome. No garden gnomes were harmed. Well, one.

Coming November 12 in the full game

  • Rubén's golf course: mow the greens and fairways, each at its own height, rake the bunkers, play real golf with a driver and a putter, fish lost balls out of the pond, and pull the handbrake on the wet parking lot. Yes, a riding mower can drift.
  • Marcela's island: load the mower onto a ferry, cross the lake and mow the whole island for a wedding. Also a boat, fishing, swimming and a lighthouse.
  • Your maps: a map editor and the Steam Workshop to share yours and play everyone else's.

You can peek at all of them on the demo's title screen.

If you like the demo, add the full game to your wishlist. The old man won't care, but we will. One More Lawn on Steam

Found a bug?

The demo is a work in progress, so there will be some. Use the "Found a bug?" button on the title screen or in the pause menu (it gets the email ready for you), or post it in the discussion forum. We read everything and we fix it.
