Where is the game?

Hi everyone.

Our Early Access release has been delayed by a few days. It could happen at any moment this weekend, or perhaps on Monday.

Why?

A year ago, we published the game’s Steam page with our trailer. It passed review. Everything was fine.

Six months ago, we published a separate page for the demo, using the same trailer. It passed review. Everything was fine.

A month ago, we added the “Early Access” label to the game’s page. There were no issues with the trailer.

Then, exactly one week before release, Steam contacted us and said that our trailer may contain copyrighted material. They told us that the game would not be approved for release until we removed a specific part of the trailer, and that after making the changes, the review would take another 3–5 business days.

That exact part, by the way, is shown in the screenshot below.

We removed it without asking why the same issue had not been raised during any of the previous reviews. Fine. It had been sitting there for a year, but removing it wasn’t a problem for us.

Today is October 17th.

We were supposed to release the game yesterday.

More than five business days have now passed since we removed everything Steam asked us to remove and notified them that the changes were complete. We still haven’t received a response.

We’re not going to publicly judge the situation here. We’ll simply say this: everything on our side is ready, and we will release the game the moment we are allowed to do so.
