Update 1.1.0: Predator Bloodlust

Hey everyone!

We have rolled out our largest content and polish update yet - Patch 1.1.0: Predator Bloodlust. This update introduces an intense new hunting mechanic, real-time voice chat facial animations, fully overhauled physics doors, combat improvements, and multiple requested quality-of-life additions.

Here is the complete overview of everything added and updated since Patch 1.0.7:

Predator Bloodlust Mechanic

• Successful catches now trigger Bloodlust for the Predator, granting temporary invulnerability, a speed burst, and heightened senses to track down remaining targets.
• Adaptive duration: Bloodlust lasts 5 seconds in 2-player duels for tight, fair pacing, and 10 seconds in 3 to 4 player lobbies.
• Prey players now receive an immediate on-screen warning card with a live countdown timer whenever Bloodlust is active, alerting them that the Predator is hunting and senses their position.
• Network state synchronization ensures all players and spectators see accurate Bloodlust indicators in real time.

Dynamic Voice Chat Lip Sync and Character Expressions Rework

• Added 16 cartoon facial expressions.
• The mouth mesh dynamically scales in real time based on your microphone volume, naturally opening wider when shouting or calling out.
• Added varied idle mouth shapes across characters and NPCs, including neutral faces, quirky smiles, and a playful hanging tongue.
• When Prey blends in by copying an NPC, they now also replicate that specific NPC mouth shape for complete visual camouflage.
• Added animated pupil dilation reactions during catch encounters.

Combat Feel and Shove Impulse

• Shove ability (Right Mouse Button or Right Trigger) now delivers a dynamic directional push impulse, knocking back opponents with satisfying physical impact.

Warmup Role Guide Cards

• Before each round begins, players are presented with an interactive role card tailored to their assigned role (Predator in fiery orange, Prey in neon cyan).
• Outlines clear round objectives, tactical behavior tips, and an ability grid showing exact controls for both keyboard/mouse and gamepads.
• Can be dismissed instantly by pressing Space, Enter, Gamepad A, or Escape, and auto-dismisses when the match timer starts.
• Fully translated across all 10 supported Steam languages.

Illustrated How-To-Play Guide

• Added a full 10-slide illustrated tutorial directly accessible from the main menu.
• Features custom in-game art explaining core mechanics: mimicry, hypnosis, whistling, prop throwing, and backstabs.

Loading Screen and Gameplay Tips

• Added a clean loading screen overlay featuring dynamic gameplay advice and an animated progress bar during map transitions.

Multiplayer, Audio, and Netcode Fixes

• Fixed Prey whistle audio replication so whistles are reliably heard by all players across the network.
• Polished end-of-round role rotation to ensure deterministic role swapping regardless of who is hosting the lobby.
• General optimizations for network traffic, voice chat clarity, and overall stability.
