- Beat the Devs livestream on October 23 at 7 PM ET
NATIVE ONLINE CO-OP IN DEVELOPMENT
We're working on native online co-op for OZARK, making it easier to take on the horrors of the facility with a friend.
You'll still be able to play through local couch co-op or Steam Remote Play Together. We're simply working on giving players another way to experience OZARK together.
Andrew shares an early look at our progress in the devlog.
We're also exploring some ideas for the future, including survival and horde modes, along with potential progression systems. Nothing to announce just yet, but we wanted to give you a look at what we're considering.
THINK YOU CAN BEAT THE DEVS?
Speedrunners, this one's for you.
Our next patch introduces LiveSplit integration, complete with built-in checkpoints and timing controls to help you track your runs. We're also including a ready-to-use .lss splits file to help you get started.
And we're going to have a little fun with it.
We're kicking off the OZARK Any% Easy Developer Splits Challenge, where the dev team will set an official time for the community to beat.
Join us Friday, October 23 at 4 PM PT / 7 PM ET 12 AM UK / 1 AM CET for Operation: Beat the Devs, LIVE on Twitch.
Watch the devs take on their own game, learn the route, and see if you've got what it takes to beat their time.
We'll share the official challenge rules, prizes, and entry details in a separate announcement.

SMOOTHER JUMPING. BETTER MOVEMENT.
We've been working on improving how movement feels in OZARK.
We identified an issue where jump height and timing could change depending on your frame rate. We're addressing that while also improving standing jumps, jumping while walking or running, fall speed, and camera movement.
The goal is simple: smoother, more consistent movement without losing the weight and feel of your character.
MORE CONTROL OVER WHAT YOU SHOOT
We're also making improvements to targeting, particularly when enemies and explosive barrels are close together.
The updated system prioritizes enemies while still giving you the ability to target objects in the environment when you want to.
Andrew also walks through target cycling and how recoil affects your shots.
These improvements are being made with your feedback in mind, and we want combat to feel more responsive and consistent.
THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OZARK
We're a small dev team, and we appreciate everyone who's been playing, sharing feedback, posting videos, and leaving reviews.
We're continuing to work on OZARK, and we're looking forward to showing you more.
