Poker Games – August 27 Minor Update: Spectator Mode & Elimination Mode Now Avai

Based on recent player feedback, this update introduces Spectator Mode and Elimination Mode, along with improvements to the ready phase and player exit flow.
Thank you for all the feedback and suggestions. We also welcome any further comments regarding gameplay, rules, or online multiplayer experience.
New Elimination Mode
Hosts can now disable the Unlimited Buy-in option when creating a room.
When Unlimited Buy-in is disabled, the room will enter Elimination Mode.
In Elimination Mode:
- Hosts can set the starting chip stack for each player
- Players cannot purchase additional chips once the match has started
- At the end of each hand, players with fewer than 1BB remaining will be considered eliminated
- Eliminated players will automatically enter Spectator Mode
Please note:
If a player manually enters Spectator Mode during the ready phase of an Elimination Mode match, they will be considered to have withdrawn from the current match and will not be able to rejoin that round.
The match will continue until only one player remains.
Once the final winner is determined, the other players will automatically return to their seats and receive a new starting stack in preparation for the next match.
New Spectator Mode
Spectator Mode is also available in the standard Unlimited Buy-in mode.
Players can only switch to Spectator Mode during the ready phase.
While spectating:
- You will not participate in the upcoming hands
- You can remain in the room and watch other players
- During a later ready phase, you can click any available seat to rejoin the game
If a player fails to ready up before the ready phase timer expires, they will automatically enter Spectator Mode.
Spectating in Elimination Mode vs. Standard Mode
In standard Unlimited Buy-in mode, spectators can select an available seat during a later ready phase and return to the game.
In Elimination Mode, however, players who voluntarily enter Spectator Mode or are eliminated due to insufficient chips cannot rejoin the current match. They must wait until the match has ended.
Thank you for continuing to share your feedback and experiences with us. If you encounter any issues or have suggestions for existing rules or new features, please feel free to let us know.
