Prison Break: Thirty Walls

Ares Deep — a free Mars expansion, this Halloween

Zitherian Studios

You belong here. That's the whole problem.

The prison taught you to never be seen. Ares Deep hands you a badge and a reason to be standing right there — then makes being seen in the wrong room the only thing that can end you.

It's a second thirty-level campaign set on a research station on the Martian surface, built on the same engine, under the same rule the whole game lives by: not one mesh, texture or material on disk . Every corridor, every force-field door, the crater field and the two moons over it are generated in code the moment the level loads.

And it's free. Ares Deep is a free update to Prison Break: Thirty Walls — if you own the game, Mars is yours. No separate purchase.

Three ways through every door

  • Hack it — a terminal and a few seconds of nerve. Hold on past the finish to forge yourself one clearance tier higher, if you dare.
  • Badge it — clone a colleague's credentials in a crowd. A senior researcher is worth a lot, for about ninety seconds.
  • Go around it — through a service duct, or out across the hull at 38% gravity, where nothing asks who you are.

Get caught and it costs your clearance, never your progress. Your badge is wiped — but every door you opened stays open, and you solve the level again from where you're standing.

When

This Halloween, as a free update on Steam. Over the next week we'll show it actually running — real frames from the real game, not concept art, plus the first trailer.
